The gin market is projected to grow to $13475.4 million by 2030 (Market Reserarch Future, Gin Market Research Report Information by Type, Distribution Channel And Region), positioning gin as a trend in the spirit industry. Celebrating the best of South Africa, the newest Inverroche Gin Academy experience at Ellerman House invites gin-lovers to be part of a bespoke masterclass, and for the first time ever, an Ellerman House experience available to non-hotel guests.
Inspired by the indigenous garden that cascades down the hillside below the magnificent property, the Ellerman House signature Botany Bay Gin was produced in partnership with the pioneers of South African craft gin: Inverroche. The collaboration between Inverroche and Ellerman House highlights two luxury brands welcoming an intimate, authentic South African experience into the Ellerman House Wine Gallery, including a step-by-step course to their own South African gin.
Led by the two award-winning Wine Stewards Sylvain Kapompa and Lovejoy Neshamba, this immersive experience allows guests to blend their own botanicals to create a custom gin infused with citrus and floral notes, gin tastings, and cocktails and canapés on the terrace at sunset. The Gin Academy costs $84 per person and will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 3:00 p.m. with a maximum of six guests before expanding days and guest ranges.
